The mission of The Boys School of Denver (BOYS) is to empower young men through movement to succeed academically, lead confidently, live boldly and thrive physically.  We see a community of young men who know who they are, know they matter, and know what matters to them. We mature young men of all backgrounds who are able to access their skills, knowledge, and self-determination to become leaders of themselves, their communities, and their world.

BOYS core values are the Habits of Heart and Mind which include, Power, Focus, Flexibility and Balance.

  • Power: Living boldly, being true to oneself, taking risks
  • Focus: Pushing oneself mentally, physically and academically
  • Flexibility: Creating a safe space by resolving conflict peacefully, repairing the harm and learning from mistakes
  • Balance: Being a leader whose voice and actions better himself and his community

These habits guide not only our physical activities, but also our academics, social skills and emotional intelligence
